This year marks a major milestone in the history of Buttsbury Pre-school as we proudly celebrate our 50th birthday. Established in 1975, our pre-school has been a warm and nurturing part of the community for five decades, supporting generations of young learners as they take their very first steps into education.

To mark this golden anniversary, we dedicated an entire week to celebration, fun, and reflection. The week began with our current children taking part in a variety of traditional and modern games, bringing joy and laughter to every corner of the pre-school. The atmosphere was full of excitement as the children embraced the festivities with energy and enthusiasm.

The highlight of our celebrations was on Friday 13th June, when we welcomed both current and past families for a special anniversary party. It was heart-warming to see familiar faces return, share memories, and see how far we’ve come together. The event was filled with smiles, storytelling, and a strong sense of community spirit - something that has always been at the heart of Buttsbury Pre-school.

In honour of this special occasion, we also took the opportunity to give our visual identity a fresh new look. Our updated logo, which was chosen thoughtfully by our Riser children, reflects both our rich history and our forward-looking approach. Alongside this, we launched a refreshed website that showcases who we are today, while making it easier for families to connect with us and stay informed.

Celebrating 50 years is not just about looking back, it’s also about embracing the future. With our updated look, continued commitment to early years excellence, and the enduring support of our wonderful families and staff, we’re excited about what lies ahead in the next chapter of Buttsbury Pre-school.
