Volunteering

Our pre-school provides children aged 2-5 with learning and development in a safe, stimulating, positive environment. Therefore, we are always looking for volunteers to work alongside staff to engage appropriately with children in their play, support with setting up and clearing away, and help keep our setting a clean, safe space.

We want our volunteers to be as diverse as the people we support. We need volunteers with a range of life experiences, skills and knowledge. In return for giving your time and talents, you will receive quality training, ongoing support, and the reward of knowing that you are making a real difference. This role will particularly suit volunteers who:

  • Are self-motivated, energetic and committed individuals

  • Have experience in engaging with young children

  • Have a good standard of spoken English

  • Are confident meeting new people

  • Have an understanding of the need to keep children safe and will adhere to our safeguarding policies.

You may like to chat with a member of staff about whether this is the right role for you, or you may be ready to apply right now. Either way, leave your contact details with us and a member of staff will be in touch to discuss your next steps in becoming a volunteer.
