Buttsbury Pre-school is a small charitable business. Fees cover the running costs of the pre-school but it is the fundraising activities organised by the fundraising team that enable us to replace and purchase vital equipment from small play resources such as paint, paper and books to larger items such as outdoor toys, tables and chairs and even annual trips.
The efforts of the fundraising team enable us to make the experience of coming to pre-school an enriched one for all of the children in our care.
Fundraising team members are volunteers, their time is given freely so they choose how much time they have available to support the wide variety of fundraising activities undertaken throughout the year. There are lots of jobs big and small and even an hour of help given by a parent is invaluable – as the saying goes, many hands make light work!
Meetings are held once a term in the pre-school, where coffee and biscuits are provided. We are always looking for new ideas and everyone’s input is valued. Why not come along and find out for yourself?

Do you work for a company that will fund match the event (please speak with your HR department)? If you do, this is a substantial amount of money that will help towards our fundraising total for the year.
In previous years, the employee applied for funding a couple of weeks in advance of the event and then pulled the raffle tickets on the day and this was enough to approve the funding. It really is that simple!
