Staff
Our team have years of collective experience providing children with a wide range of benefits from their skills, enthusiasm and commitment. Staff are all qualified in childcare and the art of “Education Through Play” and have paediatric first aid training. They continue to update their skills and professional development by undertaking regular training courses.
Through our successful Key Workers scheme there is a ratio of 1:6 adults to children, with no more than 30 children present at any one session. This ensures that every child has adequate care at all times. Key workers continually assess their children’s progress taking them to the next step in their personal learning and development. Staff also ensure that children who are transferring to school participate in more challenging, fun group activities helping them to grow in confidence and self-esteem.
The pre-school also receives support from the local authority and the area Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO).
